cole|aron gallery, a new digital fine art gallery, bringing to the world exclusive and authenticated digital interpretations of works from some of today’s visionary artists, has announced a major exclusive artist relationship with critically acclaimed textile, fashion, and performance artist Martin Grizzell.
The California born and Marseille, France-based Grizzell has engaged cole|aron to bring to life digital interpretations of some of his textile works for the NFT marketplace. Grizzell's textile works bring together traditional African American and African themes with contemporary interpretations and fine textiles to make unique and breathtaking works of textile art. Grizzell work has been showcased throughout the US and Europe, including as official U.S. artist representative at France's Consul d'Art Exhibit in Marseille, a special exhibit in San Francisco's iconic City Hall, and commissioned works for the Washington Post.
The significance of his textile works have been recognized by the Smithsonian Institution, with two of his pieces in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture.
